Our client is a privately-owned SME manufacturing nutritional food premixes formulated to meet customer's needs. It is a well-established business with a strong product development team. As a result of recent resignation, they are now looking for an  experienced Product Development / Food Technologist.

Reporting to the Product Development Manager,  You will be required to develop new product concepts and/or adapt existing products, prepare technical and nutritional information for products, liaise with customers and suppliers to maintain continuous improvement in work flow and materials used, prepare samples, and assist in packaging development.

To be successful in the role, you will hold a degree in Food Technology/ Food Science or similar qualification and have a minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role in Food Manufacturing, knowledge of the Food Standards Code, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills. In addition, intermediate Word and Excel skills along with excellent written and spoken communication skills are a must.
