Our client is a highly specialised business specialising in the global transportation of high and heavy equipment to various ports around the world. With their Global Headquarters based in Japan, they are expanding this business unit within the Australasian Market and are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive to drive their business forward.
This diverse role will focus on generating new business activity through the diversification of trade lanes and leveraging off strategic partners through a wide network of agency agreements. In addition, you will develop sound relationships with existing customers to identify further business opportunities and liaise with local with carriers and suppliers to maximise profitability of the business.
WE ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Sound knowledge within RoRo, Out-of-Gauge OR High and Heavy Cargo Market
Knowledge and experience in international freight – focus on ocean freight FCL market
Ability to develop strategic sales plans and execute them effectively
Experience in pitching to a diverse range of customers
Tender Management preparation and presentation
Reporting to the National Sales Manager you will be given the autonomy and support to be successful in this role. This organisation has solid financial backing and endless amounts of opportunities ready for the taking, you will have the flexibility of working within a niche player where decisions are made quickly to support and ensure your success.
