Global brand name employer has a specialised department within their business servicing a large FMCG client from an Export 4PL perspective. This team are the key POC for their allocated clients, attending weekly demand planning meetings, liaising with production, and arranging the exportation of finished products to work wide destinations.
The role of Team Lead in this department will proactively identify and drive improvement and optimization initiatives and activities across the area. Optimise service delivery through actively building strong relationships with customers, review department structure & processes and look to create, develop, and motivate a high performing team.
Scope of the Role:
· Participate in implementation / on boarding of new clients
· Manage client escalations and resolution
· Lead client meetings as required eg. tactical Monthly Business Reviews
· Ensure operations contribute to achievement of customer KPIs
· Review structure & processes to ensure appropriate team resourcing and productivity
· Internal collaboration to ensure timely and accurate job costing and minimize / mitigate revenue leakage
· Recruit, retain and develop high performing team
· Ensure the team develop & maintain a strong knowledge of supply chain operations and environments
· Identify and support training and development needs for the team
· Engage & develop strong relationships with key client/internal stakeholders
Experience you need to communicate at the interview:
· Customer engagement & relationship management
· Proven ability to manage and lead a team
· Working knowledge of Import / Export operations, Incoterms & documentation
· Commercial acumen
· Decisive and pro-active attitude

Salary: Circa $110K + Super + Bonuses
