Company:Our client is a vertically integrated, family-owned agribusiness, supplying their products to a large food service clientele within the Eastern Seaboard. They have recently built a state-of-the-art processing facility 15min from Toowoomba and are now looking for an experienced Production Manager to join their team.
Role:
In this hands-on role, you will manage a team of 20-25 workers on day shift. This will include managing the entire production process from receivals, wash, cutting to packing and despatch. Apart from mentoring and upskilling your team, you will be in charge of all day-to-day resource planning and rostering to ensure that the DIFOT is met. Your exceptional leadership skills, knowledge of highly perishable foods, and ability to work under pressure is a must in this fast paced environment.
You:
As an experienced supervisor / manager, you have a demonstrated track record working in high risk, short shelf-life foods, working to tight deadlines, and juggling multiple priorities. You are well versed in GMP, Food Safety, HACCP, and WHS and well-liked and respected by your team.
