Our client is experiencing continuous growth and has an opportunity for a career driven Airfreight Specialist to join their centralised operation in their Sydney operational hub! Based in Banksmeadow with WFH flexibility, this well-respected global logistics service provider renowned for providing professional excellence &customers focused qualityFreight Forwardingtransportation solutions.
Reporting to a very supportive and knowledgeable Operations Manager & working as an integral team member,this role is varied, where no two days are the same,you will be handling the Air Freight Operations collaborating with other internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Your daily operations will be:
- Management of shipments for import air freight, working within their internal system
- Tracking arrival of shipments, Interacting with Airlines and Co-Loaders
- Lodge Air Cargo within industry standard timeframes
- Chasing documentation from customer and overseas offices
- Timely invoicing of shipments
- Liaise with Customer Success team to resolve problems and deliver excellent customer service
To be considered, applicants should possess the following:
- Air Freight Operations in freight forwarding experience is highly regarded.
- Experience and competencyin using industry software programs including the ability to assess and interpret data provided electronically
- Ability to work well under pressure within a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter with ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Ability to effectively interact with all internal/external stakeholders to facilitate professional movement of all shipments
- Focused on ensuring compliance & adhering to operational regulations
- Customer and solutions focused with ability to prioritise and time-manage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Experienced people with overseas experience on long term working visas are welcome to apply
Monday to Friday role with no weekend requirements, flexibility with working hours eg: start early finish early arrangements can be made.
Salary: Negotiable pending on level of experience
