About the Role
This is a hands-on warehouse position where youll be part of the team that keeps cargo moving. From unloading containers to assisting with export orders and bonded warehouse procedures, youll gain experience across a range of freight operations.
No prior freight forwarding experience? No problem. While previous warehouse or forklift experience is preferred, full training will be provided to the right person who shows initiative, eagerness to learn, and a great attitude.
What Youll Be Doing
- Loading and unloading containers
- Storing and releasing cargo following customs procedures
- Accepting and preparing export cargo for shipment
- Picking and packing orders for both bonded and non-bonded goods
- Learning to use industry software (CargoWise) to report damaged cargo and assist with airfreight operations
- Working closely with clients, drivers, and team members to ensure everything runs smoothly
What Were Looking For
- A current forklift license (or willingness to obtain one)
- A strong work ethic and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
- A positive attitude and team-player mentality
- Basic computer skills
- Previous warehouse experience is a bonusbut not essential
- Full working rights in Australia
