The Opportunity
As Commercial Branch Manager, you will have full responsibility for the branchs performance, leading both operations and sales while driving profitability and market growth. Youll work closely with company directors to implement a market growing strategy, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen existing client partnerships as well as ensuring the operations team are high performers ensuring premium customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive business excellence and success
- Contribute to overall business strategy
- Develop and implement strategic sales business plan to increase market share and gross profit
- Ensures company profitability and market standing through generation of new accounts and development of existing accounts
- Continual process and workflow improvement
- Manage the P&L and prepare budgets
- Motivate and develop team members
Skills & Expertise
- Commercially minded experienced leader
- Sound Freight Forwarding industry background (preferably within the Brisbane market)
- Technology savvy
- Previous people management/ leadership experience
- Financial and P&L management
- Client engagement experience
- Experience in sale/ business development/account management would be advantageous
