The Opportunity
Were seeking a Customs Classifier with prior classification experience gained within a freight forwarding or customs environment. If youre currently working towards your Customs Broker Licence, youll be fully supported on that journey.
Youll ideally have exposure to both sea and air freight, across a variety of commodities. Most importantly, were looking for a professional, proactive team player who takes pride in accuracy and delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing, checking and obtaining required customs information and documentation
- Calculating duties, taxes and charges
- Tariff classification and customs valuation
- Classifying and preparing customs entries
- Preparing and pre-lodging import and export entries
What Youll Bring
- Minimum 12 years experience as a Customs Classifier
- Currently completing or having completed the Diploma of Customs Broking
- Sound knowledge of Harmonised Tariff Codes, valuation principles and INCOTERMS
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- A driven attitude with a collaborative, team-first mindset
