Are you a Customs Broker ready for your next move or an experienced Operations Supervisor with exposure to customs, transport, and invoicing within freight forwarding?

Were seeking a hands-on Customs Manager who will combine strong tariff knowledge with operational oversight to deliver high-level service to clients. Youll play a key role in advising on customs matters, managing invoicing, and ensuring seamless transport execution all while leading and mentoring a dedicated team.

What Youll Be Doing

Leadership & Mentoring

  • Guide and mentor Brokers and Classifiers and to ensure accurate and timely processing of customs entries and classifications
  • Provide operational support and leadership across the team
  • Ensure new business is transitioned efficiently and correctly

Customs & Compliance

  • Provide professional customs advice to a diverse client base
  • Manage accurate and timely classification of all shipments
  • Oversee duty deferment usage and levels
  • Support Trade Compliance initiatives and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
  • Manage the customs system and conduct regular file audits
  • Process refunds with customs authorities in a timely manner

Customer Service & Revenue Growth

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct client visits to maintain service excellence
  • Promote consultancy/recoverable services (Tariff Advice, Concessions, Drawbacks, Refunds, Posts, etc.) to drive revenue
  • Provide guidance on Customs Law and compliance

Key Attributes

  • Licensed Customs Broker highly advantageous
    • OR willingness to be enrolled in a Customs Brokerage course within 6 months of placement
  • Strong operational & invoicing experience within freight forwarding
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience supervising or managing a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organised with strategic planning capability
  • Knowledge of global logistics and industry regulations
