Due to continued business growth, a new opportunity has been created for an experienced Key Account Manager to join the team.
Role
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager who will focus on managing and growing a portfolio of strategic customers across international freight and global logistics solutions. You will act as the primary relationship manager for key clients, ensuring service excellence, identifying growth opportunities, and working closely with operational teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key freight forwarding clients across air, sea, and integrated logistics services
- Build strong long-term customer relationships and become a trusted advisor to clients
- Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities to grow revenue and margin
- Work closely with operations, customer service, and commercial teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Resolve customer escalations and proactively manage service performance
- Prepare proposals, rate reviews, and contract negotiations where required
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
- Maintain accurate CRM records and account plans
- Proven experience within freight forwarding.
- Previous experience managing key accounts or large customer portfolios is required!
- Strong understanding of international freight operations, including air and sea freight.
- Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal departments.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience using CargoWise is highly regarded.
