Logistics Temporary Role Network Control Agent

The Company

Our client is a globally recognised logistics provider with state-of-the-art facilities and industry-leading systems. Their culture is professional yet down to earth, with a strong team environment and excellent training provided. Due to continued growth, they are seeking additional support staff.

This is a long-term temporary opportunity, working Monday to Friday, 3:00pm 11:00pm.

The Role

As a Network Control Agent, you will support export operations to ensure shipments are processed accurately and on time within critical cut-off deadlines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to export shipment queries via radio communication and resolving issues promptly
• Completing and maintaining daily shift reports
• Conducting warehouse checks and scanning shipments within held cages to ensure timely processing
• Light physical handling of shipments (lifting only)
• Supporting warehouse operations while wearing required safety PPE

Full training will be provided on internal DHL systems.

Essential Skills

• Previous logistics experience (airfreight, exports, warehouse or operations) will be highly regarded
• Efficient typing skills (4060 WPM) and strong Microsoft Office proficiency
• Confident computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict cut-off timelines
• White ASIC card (mandatory assistance can be provided to obtain one)
• Full Australian working rights

Salary

Award hourly wages with applicable penalty rates.
