The Role
As a Cartage Coordinator, you'll be the key link between operations and delivery, managing the smooth flow of goods from port to client. This is a high-volume, fast-paced role that will see you working across:
- Import air and sea freight operations
- Coordinating FCL and LCL deliveries for major customers
- Liaising with transport providers to schedule deliveries
- Managing delivery times between third parties and clients
- Ensuring cargo is customs-cleared and ready for dispatch
- Coordinating interstate freight movements
- Preventing storage delays and avoiding futile trips
Who You Are
You're someone who thrives in the freight forwarding world and loves keeping things moving. Ideally, you have:
- 2 to 3 years' experience in Freight Forwarding (cartage experience is a bonus but not essential!)
- Excellent organisational skills and a sharp eye for detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
