Food Factory Manager - Lead Site Transformation & Team Uplift

Are you a seasoned leader in food manufacturing looking to step into a key site leadership role? We are currently seeking an experienced Factory Manager/ Site Operations Lead. This is a newly created role with a well-established, financially stable food manufacturer based in Brisbane northern suburbs.

About the Role:

Reporting to the GM Operations, you will play a critical role on the leadership team, overseeing manufacturing operations and leading a strong culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on leadership role where strategic thinking meets daily execution. One of the most important aspect of this role is training production staff in new processes and systems, including LEAN, to ensure that it is firmly embedded in their daily performance and encourage them to take on accountability for the measures and results.

Ideal Candidate:

As such, this role would suit to a superb leader that enjoys driving change and transformation, taking their team on a journey, and as a result improving not just yields, wastage, and costs, but also staff engagement and satisfaction. In addition to the soft skills, we are looking for a Chemical Engineer or Food Technologist that has transitioned into production and operations.
