Pricing and Tender Coordinator

The Role
Positioned within the Commercial Team of this Global Freight Forwarder, this role is responsible for the creation of comprehensive responses to tenders and to develop and implement sales strategies in order to maximise sales and corporate brand awareness. This role will drive the organisations Australasian marketing strategy and help promote current and new services in collaboration with the regional support team.

How will this be achieved?

Tender Management– Consolidating prices for both local and network tenders, improve tender responses based on national pricing and creating presentations as required
Sales Support - Assist Sales by providing prices for existing/ new clients, creating trade reports, analyse existing clients’ performances and creating weekly/ monthly/ quarterly KPI’s review
Market Intel– Data gathering and analyses on market trends, follow-up of recommendations at a local level, collaborate with the commercial network and central marketing and sales team
Promotion– Organises the promotion of new services, provides content for media channels and suggest opportunities to generate new business opportunities (partnerships, sponsorship, advertising…)
Performance - Measure the performance in evaluating brand awareness, reputation, clients satisfaction and defining action plans at regional level to improve marketing performance
Support  - Participate in sales support tools including presentations, business cases, commercial brochures, local trade fair management etc…in coordination with central marketing team
 
We are looking for a bright spark who has commercial flair and strong business acumen!

To be successful in obtaining this role you must present the following:
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience in the freight forwarding industry
  • An understanding of trade terminology and IncoTerms
  • Degree qualified in Business, Commerce, Marketing or relatable qualification
  • Excellent computer skills especially Excel (VBA, Pivot tables, Macros)
  • Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills
 
Salary Range: $70,000 + Super
